Francois Tasmowski is Senior Director, Global Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility at McCain Foods Limited.
McCain Foods is one of the world’s leading food companies, is the largest potato processing company and also markets frozen snacks, vegetables and meals. McCain Foods employs 20,000 people and operates 51 manufacturing facilities on six continents, generating annual revenues in excess of $8.5 billion.
Before joining McCain he was responsible for Corporate Social Responsibility at Chiquita Brands in Europe. Prior to working in Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility, he spent a decade in marketing and innovation functions, for Chiquita as well as Nestlé Belgium.
Francois focuses on leveraging Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility as driver of innovation, differentiation and competitive advantage. He has a particular interest in social innovation, multi-stakeholder partnerships, sustainability leadership and social impact investing.
Francois graduated with a degree in Economics from the Free University of Brussels, Belgium and obtained a post-graduate MBA in marketing Management at the Vlerick Business School of Ghent, Belgium.
He is fluent in in five languages and personal interests include writing and hiking.
