Director Supplier Relations & Diversity, Kellogg Company
Janelle Meyers joined the Kellogg Company as Director of Supplier Engagement and Development in Global Procurement in February 2016. Janelle and her team are responsible for Kellogg’s Supplier Relationship Management, Supplier Diversity and Social Accountability programs. Janelle is also a member of the Global Procurement Leadership Team.
Before joining Kellogg, Janelle spent 11 years with Walmart at their home office in Bentonville, Arkansas. Most recently, she was Senior Director, Global Responsibility Stakeholder Engagement and Communications at Walmart. In her role, Janelle was responsible for sustainability communications, reporting, emerging issues management and stakeholder engagement.
Previously, Janelle was Senior Director, Fresh Grocery Private Label responsible for the financial performance, sourcing and brand management for the Fresh Grocery Private Label brand portfolio including Great Value, Marketside, Walmart Deli and Walmart Bakery. Prior to joining the Fresh Grocery team, Janelle managed Private Label sourcing for Adult Beverage, Pet Food and OTC.
Before joining the Private Label team, Janelle was the Director of Corporate Sustainability when the team was first established in 2005 as part of Walmart’s drive to incorporate social and environmental sustainability into its business practices.
Prior to Walmart, Janelle spent five years in International Finance and Brand Management with the General Motors Corporation in Detroit, MI.
Born in Chatham, Ontario, Canada, Janelle earned her B.A. in Marketing from Michigan State University, and received her MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. She and her husband, Eric, reside in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and have two children.
