William Warshauer is the President and CEO of TechnoServe, a nonprofit that works with enterprising people in the developing world to create business solutions to poverty.
With more than 25 years of experience in international development and the private sector, Will has promoted market-based solutions to development challenges throughout his career.
Prior to joining TechnoServe, Will served as chief operating officer of Pact, Inc. and as president of the Pact Global Microfinance Fund, one of the world's largest microfinance institutions. He previously served as executive vice president for health and development solutions with a mobile technology start-up and an executive vice president at Population Services International, leading business-based approaches to public health.
Will is a regular speaker at international fora such as the Clinton Global Initiative, the Concordia Summit and the World Economic Forum. He is a graduate of Yale University and the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.
