Global Sustainability Director, Kellogg Company
Paloma Lopez is Global Sustainability Director for Kellogg Company, based in Michigan, USA. During the 12 years that Paloma has worked for the company in various European countries, the USA, and Mexico, she has held roles in Sustainability as well as in New Business Development, Innovation and Brand Strategy. In her current role as Global Sustainability Director, Paloma helps embed Sustainability into Kellogg’s growth strategies and commercial plans while delivering on the company’s 2020 Sustainability Commitments and the Kellogg’s 2025 Purpose Platform Breakfast for Better Days™.
Paloma helped lead the original design and launch of Kellogg's Origins™ Program in Sustainable Agriculture which today counts with 45 projects worldwide. She has been a key enabler and contributor to various Kellogg’s initiatives such as the US MorningStar Farms® campaign 'Just What the World Ordered' campaign, Kellogg's transparency online platform ‘Open for Breakfast’ and Special K’s partnership with the United Nations Foundation’s Girl Up program, working together to reach half a million young women with nutrition training.
Paloma represents Kellogg at the ‘Food Reform for Sustainability and Health’ (FReSH), a WBCSD and EAT joint initiative which seeks to accelerate the transformational change in global food systems. She has a Masters Degree in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge, U.K., where her dissertation project was focused on food waste and social entrepreneurship. She’s a member of the external advisory board of the University of Michigan’s Erb Institute and the Aspen Institute’s ‘First Movers’ fellowship program.
